PIXERA at CadenceLIVE 2026: Powering a 39 Million Pixel High-Resolution Keynote Environment

Distributed media server architecture enables synchronized high-resolution playback across complex multi-surface LED environments.

At CadenceLIVE 2026 in Silicon Valley, AVT Productions provided production and design for a large-scale, content-driven keynote built around nearly 39 million pixels. Richard Herrera, Creative Director at AVT Productions, led the design direction for the project, creating an environment that extended beyond a conventional presentation setup and turned the room into a cohesive visual experience.

MeyerPro supported AVT with PIXERA media servers, Analog Way screen switching systems, additional LED tiles and processing, and experienced technical labor. Working alongside AVT, the MeyerPro team provided the programming, engineering, and hands-on support needed to help bring the design together and deliver a technically demanding show.

The stage design extended beyond a conventional presentation setup and transformed the entire space into a unified visual environment. A 13,056 x 2,304 pixel LED wall served as the main display, supported by an 8,640 x 384 pixel fascia integrated into the front of the stage. Eight suspended LED elements, each measuring 240 x 2,240 pixels, extended visuals above the audience, supported by two additional side elements.

Content was designed to move across all surfaces rather than treating each display as a separate canvas. Visuals could originate on the main wall and continue across the fascia and overhead elements, creating a larger visual environment that extended from the stage into the room.

MeyerPro’s primary technical responsibility was content playback and screen switching. To manage the setup, the team deployed a distributed system built around four PIXERA four RS media servers. The main LED wall was driven as a synchronized mosaic across four outputs from a dedicated server, while a second server handled the fascia and overhead elements as independent canvases within the same timeline environment.

The system was fully redundant, using four media servers for outputs and two additional systems as PIXERA Directors. This gave the team the flexibility to manage a large number of outputs while maintaining a complete backup path throughout the event.

PIXERA outputs were routed through a Lightware MX2 48 x 48 matrix into redundant Analog Way Aquilon RS4 presentation switchers before being distributed to Brompton SX40 LED processors. The main wall and fascia were built using ROE GP2.6 panels, while the overhead and side elements used ROE Vanish V8T. MeyerPro also supplied the additional LED tiles and processing required to complete the system.

A key requirement was maintaining precise synchronization across multiple LED surfaces while allowing them to behave as parts of one larger visual system. The scale of the main wall, combined with the additional architectural elements, increased the demand for accurate timing and consistent playback across every output. PIXERA’s canvas-based workflow allowed the team to map, adjust, and drive content across the different surfaces while maintaining synchronization throughout the environment.

CadenceLIVE 2026 also marked the first major deployment of MeyerPro’s PIXERA media server fleet. The transition to a new platform was driven by growing demands for higher resolutions and more flexible workflows across live productions. Moving to a new system on a project of this size required extensive preparation, testing, and support.

PIXERA provided the performance and control needed to manage the complex setup while supporting efficient programming and operation. Gear Company provided technical guidance and training throughout the deployment process, giving the AVT and MeyerPro teams an experienced resource as the system came together. That support contributed to a smooth rollout in a demanding live production environment.

Throughout the event, the focus remained on delivering a fantastic audience experience where the technology supports the content without distraction. As Paul Collett, Video Engineer at MeyerPro, summarizes: "The best compliment I can receive after a show is that nobody noticed the technology. When the audience is focused entirely on the message and the creative, the engineering has done its job."

CadenceLIVE 2026 demonstrated how PIXERA can be applied in high-resolution corporate environments where synchronized playback, flexible system design, and operational reliability are critical. It also showed how an experienced production team can draw on trusted technical partners to bring additional equipment, labor, and engineering expertise to an ambitious design.
